House of Movement ("we," "us") operates this website. This policy describes what information we collect when you use it, and how we use that information.

Information we collect

Information you give us. If you contact us through the site, by email or by phone, we receive the information you choose to share — typically your name, contact details and your message.

Newsletter. If you join our email list, we keep your email address (and first name, if you give it) so we can send you studio news. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.

Class bookings. Bookings, memberships and payments are handled by Arketa, our scheduling provider, not on this website. Information you enter there is governed by Arketa's own privacy policy, which is linked from their booking pages.

Technical information. This website is hosted by Wix, which processes standard technical data needed to serve pages, such as IP addresses and browser type. Messages you send through the site and newsletter sign-ups are stored in Wix's forms and contact tools on our behalf, and our newsletter is sent through Wix Email Marketing.

Cookies and analytics. This site sets one functional cookie needed to serve pages correctly. We also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read, so we know what's useful and what isn't. It sets its own cookies and tells us things like which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world visitors came from, and whether they arrived from a search engine or a link — never anyone's name or identity. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not use this data for advertising. The map on our Contact page is provided by Google Maps; when that page loads, Google may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.

How we use it

• To keep the website working and secure.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers named above, which we need to run the business — Wix (website hosting, forms, contacts and email), Arketa (class scheduling and payments) and Google Maps (the map on our Contact page) — and where the law requires it.

How long we keep it. Messages and sign-ups are kept while we need them to respond to you or send you the newsletter, and deleted on request.

Your choices

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
